There might be a few things about Ibiza you didn’t know if you haven’t been there yet. Apart from its unique atmosphere, beautiful weather and breathtaking serpentines, the place has a lot more to offer. As a matter fact, if you visit the island in the off-season, you might be able to enjoy empty and peaceful bays and beaches wrapped up in the most magical light.
But we are not done yet. Ibiza also offers a great opportunity to experience history together with shopping. Have you heard about its famous Hippy Market? It’s definitely one of the islands highlights and a must-see for each visitor. Every Wednesday you can visit the Punta Arabi Hippy Market, whose origins go back to the year 1973. Back in the days, the local hippies came to sell their handicrafts and products, which they brought from different parts of the world.
Nowadays you can still find a range of artisans, painters and designers that offer here their handmade items, such as clothing, jewelry and artifacts, accompanied by authentic live music from groups all across Spain. It will turn into a special experience that you probably won’t forget!
